Girl was my partner from 74 - 87. I got her from a farmer in Sunderland, MA who rescued dogs from the pound before they were destroyed.
We hung together in Boston, Vt, Arkasas, SF, Arcata, and on the road. She was always at my side, eating, sleeping, and panhandling.
She developed cancer in 87. She died in my arms in Boston. We buried her at Izzy's place in Maine.
